Pennsylvania roots.

Pennsylvania values.

Kris Hart’s first sale was a crayfish caught in a stream behind St. Helena’s elementary school in Blue Bell, PA. Always the entrepreneur and animal lover, 7-year-old Kris established a makeshift pet shop in his parent’s garage with his brothers.

Raised by the equally loving and hard-working Patti and Eddie Hart, Kris is the product of strong working-class parents and Pennsylvania values. For forty years, Eddie has delivered packages to families across Montgomery County, PA as a FedEx Courier while his mother, Patti, worked part time while raising her children and self-published a woman’s journal. For the past seventeen years, she has worked full time in workforce development. Kris has dozens of cousins, aunts, uncles, sister, brothers, brother-in-law and a niece living across the state. As a child, Kris benefited from both private and public education, attending St. Helena’s, Wissahickon, Pennsdale, Springfield, and the US House of Representatives Page School.

At just 34 years of age, Kris Hart is an accomplished businessman and philanthropist. His company, Hart Strategic Enterprises was recognized as the 44th fastest growing inner-city company in America by Fortune magazine and CNN/Money. With ventures ranging from convenience stores, to salons, to a network for small business owners, he is intimately familiar with the financial realities facing Pennsylvania’s employers and workers.

The Co-Founder and CEO of Round2Fight an organization aimed at serving homeless populations, Kris is deeply passionate about improving the quality of life for everyone he meets. Also the founder of the College and University Straw Poll, he has created a nationally-recognized platform enabling the voices of young-people to be heard in the political process.

Kris has served on the Board of the George Washington University President’s Advisory Council, as President of the Washington Circle Business Association, on the Committee on Economic Development for the DC Chamber of Commerce, on the Government Relations Board for Think Local First DC, and as a trustee to Phi Sigma Kappa International Foundation. Previously, Kris served as Second Vice-Chairman of the College Republican National Committee and Chairman of the Northeast Caucus from 2002- 2005 and as president of the George Washington University student body. In 2002, he was named the Ronald Reagan Activist of the Year.

A compassionate citizen, strong leader, and driven businessman, Kris Hart represents the heart and soul of Pennsylvania. From each challenge he has been dealt in life he has created opportunity, not only for himself, but for the hundreds of people he has employed over the years, offering a hand-up whenever possible. Today, he resides with Jade and Mr. Trooper, his beloved rescue dogs, while continuing to drive economic growth and offer concrete solutions to improve local communities.
